Cannot believe If it really exists!!!
I have just started my morning and the first thing i ever do is to update my photo at webshots. This picture just made my day! I still cannot believe if this place really exists. The photographer has captured it in a way to make the scenary more fascinting. Can anyone tell me where this place is actually located,Chinese Garden, Royal Roads University, British Columbia, as now i its my wish to take my hubby to this place.

Thanks for the kind comments. Royal Roads University is just North of Victoria along the coast. Just follow the road to Sooke and you should see it just before getting into Sooke. The grounds are open to the public. Good luck. |

Just in case you come back Don Paulson, I just downloaded your pic to get a good look at it and it is so very beautiful. Love the colors and the composition. It is dream-like; you must have enjoyed quite a lot taking that pic. I didn’t download it yesterday because the wallpaper I got automatically for the day was a keeper. A cute little kitty. Can’t ever resist them. But I kept your pic in mind for today and have it as my screen wallpaper. Another keeper. Have a lovely day whether you see this message or not. (: |

Hi Amini, yes "this place really exists". For many years (and until just a several years ago) Royal Roads University was a military training college for cadets. Now it is an accredited, degree granting, University. The campus is located just outside of the City of Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. Victoria is situated on the southern tip of Vancouver Island on Canada’s west coast. Royal Roads University’s Chinese Gardens is just one of the many beautiful places to visit (some others being Butchart Gardens and Beacon Hill Park etc.)while in Victoria.
