Mid March, thru April, you need to go and check it out. "Antelope Valley Poppy Reserve" this link is the site for it. (Just cut and paste it into your browser)http://www.parks.ca.gov/?page_id=24565 . This link shows some photos of it :http://images.google.com/images?hl=en&q=Antelope+Valley+California+Poppy+Reserve&btnG=Search+Images&gbv=2. .To see where this is, copy (highlight) these GPS coordinates 34° 43.894'N 118° 23.651'W . Go to Google Earth, and find the word SEARCH in the upper left hand corner. Under it will be 3 tabs. Click on the "Fly To" tab, and paste the coordinates in the little window. When this is accomplished, Click on the little magnifying glass to the right of the little window, and the screen should take you to this location. You can see it closer, by Zooming down.
