In the 50's our little brown dog had a batch of puppies in the barn. A Banty hen decided the pups looked like chicks and chased Brownie out so she could sit on the furry brood! Brownie was allowed to feed the puppies, then she was chased away again! The local paper took this picture and it appeared in newspapers across the USA.
