picture: Glacier National Park - Crystal Blue River runs through Glacier National Park.
published by: darvin_atkeson
As we traveled from East to West though Glacier National Park we followed the Going To The Sun highway (aka Glacier Highway One) which follows a river. The water coming from the high altitude Glaciers in Glacier National Park was stunningly clear and crystal blue. Throughout Glacier National Park, whether lake, stream or river, the water was always sparkling clear. Not the Blue Green color of the water. Glacier National Park is one of my personal favorites but pretty far from my home in California. I hope to return to Glacier National Park someday to do even more photography. If you plan to visit Glacier National Park in Montana, I recommend you plan at least a week to view the entire park and travel across the border in to Canada to see the rest of the park. It’s great that our governments have seen fit to protect Glacier National Park from development. Glacier National Park is a great piece of American Frontier still in its original state.
