Leak in BMW X5 intake plenum, causing (I think) Error codes E3 and E4, "oxygen sensor adaptation limit", as the air leak causes the system to run too lean, and the car cannot adapt within range of the sensor.

The E3 and E4 codes (oxygen sensor out of range) can be caused by an air leak in the intake. The upper air intake tubes does almost a complete loop-de-loop and what is the big dingus on one tube for? Cleaned it all. Note blue detrius - sign of former radiator fiasco? (BMW coolant is blue) Need to do more cleaning....
