Photo Postcards are a fun, interactive way to send a virtual postcard. You can choose any photo on Webshots, customize it with your personal message and our optional selection of captions, and send it to your friends and family via email. Your recipients will receive an interactive pickup experience in which they view the beautiful photo you sent them, and then click on it to "flip it over" and read your message!

We also have postcards selected for birthdays, pets and holidays in our Greetings section. Simply roll over Greetings at the top of Webshots in order to see these photos that enable you to connect, express and celebrate! You will also be able to connect with our partner egreetings.com to send their free ecards.

1. Click on the Photo Postcard button found on any photo page, the homepage and professional photo homepage carousels, or the professional photo thumbnails pages.

2. Choose Recipients

1. The "From" name will default to your Webshots member name, but you may edit it.
2. The email address will default to the one associated with your Webshots account. For security purposes, you cannot edit your email address.
3. To add recipients' email addresses, you can either type them into the "To" field, being sure to separate multiple email addresses with new lines, or you can select email addresses from your Address Book by checking the box next to them.

3. Customize Your Message

1. You can select as many optional captions from our gallery of messages as you like. These will appear at the top of the "Your Message" field.
2. You can type your personal message in the "Your Message" field. Write as much as you like, there's no limit!

4. Select options, Preview & Send

1. The send date defaults to today's date, but you can click on the date to bring up a calendar and choose a future send date.
2. By default, we will send you a notification email when your Photo Postcard is picked up by your recipient. If you would not like to receive an email notification, please uncheck the box "Notify me when this card has been received."
3. Type in the characters you see in the reCaptcha image below, which helps reduce SPAM.
4. If you don't want to preview your card, you can click on the "Send Card" button and your postcard will sent on the selected date.
5. To preview the card, click on the "Preview Card" button. In the Preview, you can review your "From" name, the recipients, the send date, and your email notification preference. To view your message, click on the "Click for Message" button at the bottom of the postcard image. If you would like to change anything you see in the Preview, click the "Edit Postcard" button.Ifeverything looks good, you can click the "Send Card" button and your postcard will send on the selected date.

You will receive an email from Webshots containing a link to your Photo Postcard. Click on the link to view your Photo Postcard, and then click on the photo to "flip it over" and read your personal message. If you would like to do more with the photo, such as download it or share it, you can click on the "do more with this photo" button. If you would like to learn more about sending your own Photo Postcards, click on the "send your own postcard" button.

To edit or delete a Photo Postcard that will be sent in the future, go to My Shots > Account > Photo Postcards. In the "Photo Postcards to be Sent in the Future" section, click on the "Edit" button to edit a Photo Postcard or the "x" button to delete it.

To see which Photo Postcards you have sent in the last 30 days, go to My Shots > Account > Photo Postcards. In the "Photo Postcards Sent in the Last 30 Days" section, click on the link in the "View Photo Postcard" column to view the Photo Postcard that you have sent.
