Bouboule, the Trainer. In his 23 years with us, he trained one lab, 2 collies, a cocker spaniel and a rothweiller to the rules of the house or to break them without being caught.It was his intelligence, his beautiful eyes and wonderful character that made this "Pound Puppy" everybody's favorite.

Not my pet, but this dog risked his life in the fast flowing waters of the Linton Falls on the River Wharfe - just to harrass some baby ducks! I feared he would drown, but he did eventually get out okay!

My little rescued tortie kitten wants to be with me all the time. Her name is Pepper. I was working on loading photos onto Webshots and guess who poked her head around to look at me!!!

My sister's fat cat Powder sleeping in my father's chair. It was so funny to see his position and just his face was in the sun. The positions cats get into when sleeping are always so funny.

This photo I took several years ago of my cats at that time, Tito and Tara. Both unfortunately are in kitty heaven. I came in this day and saw them hanging out in my doll's bed - obviously thinking I had fixed the bed for them!

Cats always sleep in such funny positions. I found our cat Boo sleeping like this on our chair in the living room.

Aren't I beautiful? Quiet? Polite? Gentle? Yes, yes, yes, and yes. ;-)

This Bee Was in the Woods Behind Danielle's Parents House in the Wildlife Reserve

This mother cat was feeding five cats in the same time. Two blond ones weren't hers but she displayed such nice behaviour in my garden at Kusadasi. I was feeding the mother so they were feeling free to come and nap in my garden.

She was so beautiful.

They were sunning on the warm stone wall.They all look in the same direction.

I don’t think I’ve seen quite so many gulls hanging out next to the ferry ever! We went for a walk in the river valley-an activity that endears us to each other -good thing it is fall and the wasps are gone.

I raised and released these 2 squirrels after Hurricane Charley destroyed their nest in 2004.

This raccoon has been raiding our cat food bowl for months. One night recently I went out on the patio and there it was hanging from the patio rafter. Not sure who was the most surprised!

Simbulon is another rescue cat. He loves to play soccer and when the ball is gone he looks for plasic bags to hide, to enjoy the noise and to get attention. He sure got my attention. I was very happy when he found a new home, but I miss him.

"Oh happy day" said the cat, turned on his back, closed his eyes and purred as if he was singing a song to the sun, the splendid weather and to whoever.

Einstein is a rescue cat who found last week a family who adopted him. This picture of him is so totally him: spoiled and so very sensitive - totally cat! When he layed there around patting his face with his tail, it always seemed to me he was hiding behind his tail.

The Red Squirrel is endangered due to the encroachment of the American Grey squirrel moving North. There are many programmes attempting to eradicate the Grey as it carries the Squirrel Pox virus which they are immune to but kill off the reds.
