Lomography deals with photoshooting using LOMO cameras. These are Russian cameras that have color-intensive, blurry lenses giving an antiqued looking result. At dumpr.net a photo can be converted to lomo. (Of course these are not REAL lomos and not even real postcards- April Fool!)

i don't know if this one can count. i saw this ad on the net. mainly i just put tommy's and jimmy kimmel's face's instead of the original faces in the ad. i put them in a tv and then addded the cnn and the live logo. and the purple background. jimmy kimmel used to host a show called "the man show" if you ever saw it this pose is most appropriate for jimmy kimmel. he is a crazy guy.

No, the fire department isn't asking the public to start fires during this hot Louisiana summer. This is the fire house for the Start Fire Department in Start, Louisiana.

This is not the actual face of the building. The building was being remodeled and the scaffolding was covered in plastic, painted to look like the building. Even the balcony is painted on a flat surface.

on my way to Dallas, there was a huge accident and the traffic was so backed up that I got off of the highway and took an alternate route, when I realized I was headed right for a town where a very close and dear friend lives on her farm with her husband and two daughters...Her husband told me that the chicken likes to ride on the pigs back, but of course I did not believe him, till I saw this with my own eyes!! WOW! Tami said the chicken likes to take Bob for a ride.

I was walking along the pier when I saw this red Helicoptor coming my way. It was flying right along the coast line. I waited till it got closer and started snapping...I had no idea I would get a shot where I could actually see the coast guard guys in the chopper...Now, how KEWL is that?!?!?! This guy was getting ready for the rescue jumpers to jump out to help some kids who were in trouble past the pier. I just happened to be standing on the pier at the very end of it. It was quite a long pier.

Honest Ed's is a landmark discount store located in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It is located on the corner of Bloor and Bathurst Streets, running the whole length of the block. It is named for its proprietor, Ed Mirvish who opened the store in 1948 and oversaw its operations for almost sixty years, until his passing in 2007.

This is a picture of my niece, Sara. I used a macro lens to focus on the eye and got a little more as a bonus. She was watching cartoons and I happened to catch the reflection from the television in her eye. I used photoshop in order to make the photograph black and white, but I left her beautiful blue eye color. Enjoy. Blow this photo up for maximum clarity..

This has to be the best roller coaster ride in the state of Florida by far. The fact that you are stopped at the top and dangled over the edge gives that extra excitement, who could ask for anything more?

This sculpture of flowers was made into a beautiful butterfly and to bring it to the forefront I applied a blur and an explosion effect in photoshop to fool you into thinking it is moving.

April Fool! The door is mostly window! This bathroom is in Winchester House in San Jose, California. The window is there to let people see how 'modern' Mrs. Winchester's house really was for its time.

Process: - created a dup layer - pasted left eye in place - copied left eye, flipped horizontally, and pasted in place for the right eye - brought the dup layer up to the top level - used the magic wand to select the black space for the right eye, feathered at 5 pix, and deleted the selection. This allowed the right eye to show through. - selected right eye layer and smudged to fill in. - when I tried to repeat this for the left eye, the magic wand selected more than I wanted so I had to go back to the dup layer and draw in a temporary line to constrain the selection. - I was then able to repeat the process for the left eye. - I removed the temporary line from the dup level - flattened the image and saved as a jpeg

The joke was on me. The lake was gone.

How does she materialize out of the bushes? A very clever sculptor and the use of a mirror...that's how!

What a Hoot! The banana is almost as big as Winston!

As you can see from other photos in this album (taken on different dates), this pigeon has learned to ride moving trains as the rumble through Shreveport, Louisiana. This was the first time I've seen the pigeon riding on a railroad car in nice weather. Normally, the pigeon rides on hoppers carrying grain. I'm not sure why the pigeon selected a car carrying rock.
