Felix was born 18 years and 4 months ago at our home. She lived with our daughter for some 15 years, but came home again to spend the rest of her life with us. We called her Felix because our vet thought she was a tomcat when she was born, that's why we gave her the name Felix, which we've never changed. You can find pictures of her when she was young in our Cats we love them, album...:)

What can be more peaceful to see than a sleepy cat.

This cute family of Arabian Cats were in a local park -- there are quite a few wild cats in the parks and people usually treat them well. You can tell that these are not ordinary domestic cats by the size of the kitten's ears -- they are large in order to release the desert heat. They have very recently been given the distinction of a new breed -- they are part domestic cat and part wild Arabian Sand cat.

Bingo is a stray cat that arrived at our lift truck shed in nov, 2008. He was hiding for days underneath one of the pallets and at first we thought it had to be a mouse that was moving around there. As we didn't want any mice in the shed we removed the pallet just to see this tiny little kitten racing around to hide underneath the next pallet. It took me three hours and lots of patience to make him come closer and closer to the edge of the pallet. Once he finlely was in reach I was able to offer him some milk and managed to stroke him. "Bingo!" was the first thing I said to him when I was able to touch him, so that name stuck with him ever since. Bingo now happily lives with us, together with our own Persian and five other abandoned cats. He still has a very reserved caracter and even though he is now two years old he is still half the size of our other cats, but he lives a healthy and happy life with us!

I don't have access to a real cat but I was able to capture this"cat" last weekend. Had no problem getting her to pose.

Roadie was found as a kitten out back at the restaurant I was managing. I rescued him the night before Hurricane Charley smashed into Central Florida reaking havoc in August of 2004. A Roadie was a thick cut of sirloin that was placed on a bed of seasoned onions sizzling on a hot black oven skillet. Hence his name....

My son an I was by the tigers by our self. I saw the tiger stalking Gary while playing so I had Gary to sit by the window. I did not know what would happen if anything. Gary did not know the tiger was behind him. When the tiger hit the glass gary jumped up and turned around. What happened could not have worked out any better! NO EDITING OTHER THAN EXPOSURE AND CROPING.

This Cheetah was totally stalking us at our local zoo It totally freaked me out.

Most of the animals appeared to be quit happy & relaxed but I felt really sorry for this tiger. He just prowled backwards & forwards constantly.

Pokie's favorite pasttime is attacking our feet. Fortunatly she has learned to be gentle with light clawing and a soft bite. Every morning she follows me into the kitch and then to the bathroon weaving in and out of my feet. Makes for a challenge first thing in the morning.

Pokie must have needed a quick power nap after all that energy used in attacking my foot. She slept until I moved my foot and then she was at it again.

"Close your eyes Redhead!!" said Daphni the tricolor beauty, while Spot, her brother was watching. - I found this while editing pictures from the about 20 kitten we had at that time in the shelter. I just cropped the scene, no photoshopping!!

I called him Zorro because of his mask. Zorro is one of the nicest street cats I know. He was showing up every once in a while, waiting until everyone had finnished eating to make himself comfortabe an eat. Here he still was waiting. its about 6 month he didn't drop in. I miss him and I am worried.

She is a friend from the buildings near by. She has a home, but she loves my food.
