I found this experiement, especially with the kids, very telling about their personalities, which is why it's titled "Alter Egos". They were'nt told to do anything in specific - I just told them to do something different in two separate shots. This is a collage of only two images of the kids, where as the one I did of myself is a collage of 6 images! All in good fun.

It was wonderful to see the expression on the face of this lady, with limited vision, when she reached up to touch the ripe Crabe apples.

I took this photo of myself looking out a window by placing the camera out to my left on a tripod. I decided to decrease the color pallette and voila, a Scarface movie poster rendition.

I used this photo a couple of weeks back, but it was meant to be used for this summer sometime and what better than this week's challenge. This is AJ and he wanted a snow cone, but what he didn't realize was that if you ate the snow cone to fast you end up getting 'Brain Freeze.' Enjoy...

This is a female gorilla at Woodland Park Zoo, in Seattle we have a very nice habitat for them, but it always makes me sad to go observe them, I wish they could all be free, but sadly they are probably safer in the zoo, and if something is not done about these crazy people killing them to eat them, soon this is the only place they will remain in existence!!

I didn't see this man put the ladder up to the Linnean House at the Missouri Botanical Garden in St. Louis, Missouri! I doubt that photographers are allowed to bring ladders to the gardens, so I have to assume that it was an employee wanting to take a photo of work he had done on the busts that adorn the top of the building. Little sisters have to put up with a lot of guff from big brothers in our family.

He talked Mom into tasting a "Disgusting Jelly Bean" from a buy in a market. The beans had names like, "vomit", "Horse Sweat", etc. Mom tried one and only one.

The hand is there to grab the hat BEFORE she does!! My Great niece Miss Georgia Grace and her 1st birthday smash cake.

What a beautiful woman in this tree costume that moved slowly around Animal Kingdom and Walt Disney World. Her stoic expressions totally played the part.

We met her on our trip to Northern Anatolia,Trabzon,Rize. The little girl smiles nicely while leaning to her mummy.Look at her lovely headscarf. Her mother sells the scarves and other ornaments to tourists.

The chicks followed Dayna around from the day they hatched. When she sits down in the garden they always climbed onto her lap. This particular day the chicks were very adventurous as they climbed up to her shoulders and suprised her. She had been trying to teach the chicks to fly. They have been amazing pets.

In August 2004 my daughter and I spent a pleasant weekend in Ocean Grove NJ. her favorite part was finding pigeons in the green by the auditorium who were very tame and enjoyed eating peanuts from her hand. Her joy is very apparent on her face.

This touching moment was a great capture on Memorial Day 2009. A soldier just back from Iraq came to thank a WWII soldier and they equally showed their appreciation to each other.

My brother in law and his brother fooled around during the photo shoot at my sister's wedding. I wish it was a bit clearer but I will enter it anyway as I think it is a riot.
