I went to Beyer's pond at night in the hope of seeing the ghost of Larry who was burned alive there, but I found instead a spirit far more sinister--totally alien, huge & seemingly on a hunt--emanating both cold from its laser eyes & hot from its gut.

Running & burning alive, Larry never made it to the waters of Beyer's pond. His tortured, burning ghost continues to haunt Beyer's pond on black nights.

gorgeous Newport mansion which is now part of a college there. I took this from the Cliff Walk at twilight. I darkened the exposure and sharpened the image to make it look more like a haunted mansion. it reminds me of one of those manors or mansions in a Victorian gothic thriller.

One October there was a re-enactment team at the Ringwood Manor. General Grant and his wife Julia were among the historic visitors. I took a photo of them strolling, then cooled the colors a bit and softened it to make it ghostly...

I actually took this photo from my I-Phone then took it to another program to give it eerie effects.This shot was taken at our local government building and was in an office I had visited. As you can tell by the door on the left of the witch.

My wife decorates these cabinets for each season of the year. I take pictures to help her remember how each shelf was decorated for each season.

Came across this old vacant building on 6th Street in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, USA. I have been unsuccessful at finding the history on this place but it looks like at one time Jay Shin’s might have been a corner convenience store and the two top floors were most likely rental units. Happy Halloween! This is the first of my 2010 carved pumpkins. I spent the evening of October 20, 2010 painstakingly carving this beauty.

This was one of many entrants into some city art contest some years ago. This one was loaned to the zoo for the event. I've seen others around town where people bought them at auction and displayed them on their lawns.

The Crow is an omen of transformation, and it is associated with illusion, shape-shifting, trickery, and the supernatural. Be extremely vigilant of this messenger.

On 10/23/11 I enjoyed experimenting and transformed my wintry picture of Boldt Castle for Halloween. Layered with pictures of my own vultures, lightning (taken from my back door), and texture (from an old cookie sheet). Boldt Castle is in Alexandria Bay, upstate NY.

The scarecrow and possee of pumpkins light the corner for a fun evening.

My little friendly ghost bear welcomes friends who stop to visit.

Inside the dark house of the witches. The witches look to the door... They wait the next innocent... Will they cook the innocent?

This is a gate I took at the breakers in Newport RI, that I added some special effects and I put some lighting in the picture to make it look scary.
