I Never Felt More Like Singing the Blues fits this picture. We had a gully washer and it washed so much sand it turned into quicksand near a stock tank. This cow got stuck. We dug for 1 1/2 hrs getting her legs free, then she turned right around and went back into it again to immediately sink to her neck again. We were singing the blues or something to her then. We did get her out and she is safe and sound.

These five oldtimers get together at Hardee's Restaurant every Saturday morning for bluegrass and oldtime mountain music. "Colorado", writer Dave Kirny, definitely my favorite song about this wonderful state. It was very difficult to choose only one line from the beautiful lyrics (and the melody is just perfect, also!).
