I resolve to take more time to travel.

This year is our 30th year together so I started to plan for celebrations. Travelling to Antalya where we had our honeymoon, going to concerts,films,dramas,opera, eating out at places we like,buying presents,exploring Istanbul, these are some of the things we plan to do.

I will stop to make a mess of my shots and take model on Webshots Members. They are so skilled.

Stay afloat like "La Calypso" of J.Y. Cousteau, but with less repairs to make, I hope !

Eat more fresh fishes and shellfishes.

When shooting photos I often concentrate so much on composing the perfect shot that I don't take the time to think about just how amazing all these creations-of-nature really are.

To appreciate the little moments in life.

To remind myself that even the animals take power naps.

To be thankful for those who light up my life with love and friendship.

To spend more time on spiritual things and to bring spiritual things and photography into a balance.

To never forget the beauty and awe our creator and God has given us.

Beauty can be found everywhere but is often overlooked, especially in some of our smallest blooms. I want to look more for these overlooked tiny flowers/blossoms.

A New Year and a New Beginning!

Someone said that a smile costs nothing. It is not true, when your heart is heavy a smile costs a lot. But a simple smile can strongly help at any time. So I resolve to make an effort to smile more and take it easier. A smile back could be a precious reward!

I resolve to overcome my laziness and spend more time with friends. Sharing happy or sad moments with the others is a good opportunity for your own growth and can help not to concentrate only on your troubles.

This is a shot of my mama's last Christmas (2006) with my niece. She died on June 2007 at 94 years old. It is not easy to stay with old people, they are often self-centred and a bit harsh. But when you figure out the joy you are able to give them, only with a kind word or a little company, you heart bits faster!

Hannover - Old part of the town. Am always "on the road" to places far away, but hardly ever manage to travel around my beautiful home country. That will have to change in 2010 ;-)!

I lost 14 pictures only in this album!!!!! ======================================== On the left side flows the wonderful Ruhr river in direction to the neighbouring town Duisburg, there is the estuary in the Rhein river. This is one of three arms of the Ruhr river, the shipping canal. On the other waterside is an isle between two arms, also nature reserve. We will now follow the Ruhr river downstream.

Over the past few years, it seems I have been in one, big incessant rush. I'll *try* to slow things down a bit!

An ice climber in the North Georgia Mountains on route 348 near the top of the mountain near the Appalachian Trail access. Dress warm. Even if it is 40 at the bottom of the mountain, it will be cold up here. I will be adding an entire album this week on the Ice climbers. I will also add a few to my new album, "Photographing Georgia in the last week of 2009". I am putting together a potpourri of subjects in Georgia and all are photographed this last week of 2009.

This was taken at mile 40 of 100 at the Pinhote 100 mile endurance run. This is my coach I photographed while he was running this race for a second time.

Miley loves to lay by the fire every night. I put a blanket down for her and when she gets really warm, she stretches out as in this picture and lays on her back. She stays there for hours!
