One small step for man... This entry pays homage to the 40th anniversary of the Apollo Moon Landings- a delicious and sweet gingerbread and frosting spaceship! Everything else you see is edible as well. Yum!

Summer is here and that makes it time for campfires and s'mores. If you've never had them..they are made by toasting a marshmallow over the fire then placing it between two graham crackers with a chunk of chocolate added in to melt everywhere. Good n' messy!

This is an incredible dish . and so easy to make, with British Pimm’s cocktail.it only takes about 10 minutes from start to finish! Flavour-wise, vanilla and strawberries just love each other and the stem ginger gives the whole thing an amazing flavour Preheat your grill to high. Cut tops of the strawberries with a knife, cutting off a bit of the flesh too so you get a flat base and place them in a bowl. Mix in the stem ginger syrup, vanilla seeds, Pimm’s and the stem ginger chunks. then place the strawberries on shallow ovenproof dish, tips pointing up in the air. Pour over the juices and stem ginger pieces from the bowl. Place the vanilla pod on top and pop under a heated grill for 3 to 5 minutes until bubbling. Wrap the shortbread in a tea towel or put it in a plastic bag and tie a knot in the end. Smash it with a rolling pin until you have quite fine crumbs. When the strawberries have softened and are hot all the way through, divide them between four bowls. Scoop up all the sticky bits on the bottom of the dish and carefully stir. Sprinkle the shortbread biscuits over the top, and top with Ice Cream. Yummy! 500g Strawberries, Stem Ginger, 1 Vanilla Pod de seeded, a couple of splashes of Pimms. 8 Shortbread Biscuits, Vanilla Ice cream.

The no bake Filling. 14oz. cream cheese, 3 tablespoons brown sugar, 1/2 cup Grand Marines Orange Liquor (1/2 milk if your a tea total-er). beat till smooth and fill cooled pie shell.

Well-known in Turkey.Our children love this traditional sweet.That men are Pamuk helva (Cotton helva) seller in Uskudar,Istanbul.This sweet looks like the cotton and the name came so.

Chocolate covered bourbon creams with pecans on top, souvenirs of visiting various distilleries on the "Bourbon Trail" in Kentucky.

Jelly bellies are gourmet jelly beans. There are 49 different flavors here. My favorite is Cappuccino, but I've only found 3 so far. ;)

These cookies have big chunks of chocolate, not just chocolate chips. Our motel in KY baked these and put them out about 5 PM. They went FAST! lol

This wasn't even an especially large grocery store in Switzerland, but the chocolate selection is magnificent! We pretty much lived on chocolate, cheese, and rustic bread while visiting!

The sweet smell of this flower can always take me back to the Islands , at least in my dreams.

I had to make something in my new oven and now I'm on a quest for the best ever brownie recipe. This one was pretty good!

Dark chocolate, milk chocolate, white chocolate (plus cocoa), pecans & walnuts. Not very fattening.

My original strawberries shot was missing something so I decided to try some backlight and simulated rain (sprinkler). I got the idea from Bryan Peterson's book "Understanding Exposure" which I HIGHLY recommend.

In Denver's Airport, this sweet shop tempts every traveler with M&Ms, red hots, sweet tarts, jelly beans and many other beautifully presented treats.

Fruit is the natural sweet. Here are cherries, strawberries, pineapple, peaches, apples and pears.

Jelly beans are always a sweet treat with a variety of flavors. Even President Reagan loved them. His wife brought Jelly Bellies to his hospital bed when he had been shot.

Made from flour, sugar and cubed fruit soaked in rum and brandy, this cake is popular in Trinidad during the Christmas season. The tea is Indian Chai. Yummy.

This mango tree in our back yard bears very sweet, starchy fruit from peel to seed :). It is the sweetest mango I've tasted and my favourite one.

I didn't have time to cook sweets, so I had another idea for Something Sweet! ;)

It's a sweet pastry base topped with raspberry jam. The almond sponge part is a basic victoria mix, replacing half the flour with ground almonds

Just to prove it's home made, I made it lopsided! A real Battenburg has raspberry essence in the pink sponge. I use strawberry, as the oyher is almost impossible to get unless you want industrial quantities
