Her gown does not have the panache of the English and French ladies shown here (perhaps due to the use of one color in limited lighting), but it is a good example of dress of the era. Her petticoat is exposed by the widely separated sides of her robe and is decorated with a deep and a smaller lace flounce. The stomacher is decorated with bows en echelle.
