Scarlet loved Ashley, and her husband Rhett ( Clark Gable was dashing and wonderful) When Rhett found out that his wife, longed for Ashley, he threw this dress at her, to wear to a party, yelling, "here, it's red, and it fits your adulterous desires." She enters the door here, and stands defiantly, in Ashley's house, where all the women are giving her dirty looks. Her friend, Melanie ( Olivia DeHavilland) greets her and brings her in the party.
