Oak Lake is one of hundreds of scenic lakes in the Kawartha Lakes district of Southern Ontario. With the Muskoka Lakes area to the west, the Northumberland region to the east and south and Algonquin Park to the north, the Kawarthas abound in beautiful scenery. Oak Lake itself is about 50 miles north of the Lake Ontario shore, 110 miles Northeast of Toronto, Ontario and about 30 miles Northeast of Peterborough, Ontario. The small town of Havelock is about 15 miles to the south on Highway #7. These photos were shot at Leisure Cottages on Oak Lake. Before leaving on my annual summer vacation at Leisure Cottages, I had deceided to take a group of Action Figures with me just for fun. It took 3 days to shoot these photos and drew a few curious eyes. Most people, while on vacation fish, swim, hike etc. In addtion to those activities, I also shot an Action Figure story.
