February 6, 2008, 11:46 AM, another severe snow storm. Here in the small town of Coal Valley, Illinois. We were spared the worst... tornadoes. Hard hitting snow and howling winds, whiteouts, streets disappearing into the drifting snow, but beauty still.

We shoveled off our lower barn roof. By the time we were done we had to lift the snow up to toss it off the roof. The edge of this roof is between 7 & 8 feet off the ground. Look up on the upper roof and you will see the amount that had built up. We
