Jod and I took our second trip to F'burg and stayed at one of the 7 cabins at Settler's Crossing. This album is of our circa 1850 Missouri-built cabin, the Bohl, and of others including the owner's home. Enjoy.

Only 4 miles from our vacation cabin, we just had to stop and see the famous Luckenbach, of which the Waylon Jennings song made famous. I've added more historical info on this tiny but mighty blip on the map below each picture.

From Settler's Crossing website: The Bohl cabin, built in Missouri in 1850, was moved to Settlers Crossing and authentically restored with modern amenities... The Fredericksburg two story log cabin bed and breakfast contains not only a wood burning fireplace and jacuzzi tub, but like the rest of the cottages, all of the early country antiques that have made Settlers Crossing famous. This Fredricksburg bed and breakfast is surrounded by giant oak trees on 35 beautiful Texas hill country acres. An early 19th. century corn crib from Pennsylvania and a rock smokehouse add to the amemnities of this Texas hill country getaway.
