I'm very happy with the final results. The same velvet that makes up the pouch also forms the two loop handles (these handles contain the only machine stitching in the entire bag). A golden filigree finding meant for beads makes the perfect slider for the drawstring.
I believe the pouch is about 7 1/2 inches deep, but I will have to measure it again. I will update this information when I know. The elegant tassel is about 5 1/2 inches long.
