This album features boats ranging from small ones to large ships. Some were taken on 35mm slides back in the mid 70's and the more recent ones are all digital. There is even a post card that I scanned in just because I served on this ship at one time.

Best viewed fullsize to see details of this racing schooner. Although smaller, it resembles the Bluenose II, which was recreated some years after the original was lost at sea. The Bluenose has become our seafaring symbol and is featured on the Canadian dime. I have photos of that ship in my Tall Ships 2007 album, but it was docked at the time and I wanted a shot under full sail. So this was the closest I could get to the "real deal".
