Living his 103rd year, 'Navy Centenarian Sailor', wartime commissioned Chief Warrant Officer Julio 'Jay' Ereneta, Naval Flight Officer, Radio Electronics, Aviation, USN (Ret.), former enlisted Aviation Chief Radioman (ACRM, Combat Aircrewman) is a thirty year veteran of World War One and World War Two. He first flew aircrewman (Radioman Third Class) in an F5L Seaplane of USS WRIGHT (AZ-1) in August 1922. He was Radioman/Gunner (Combat Aircrewman) in the 1920s/1930s in air squadrons of the first aircraft carriers, USS LANGLEY (CV-1) and USS LEXINGTON (CV-2).
