Veterans Day Nov. 11, 2007. I celebrated my 81st birthday yesterday.
I salute those who lost their lives during the six invasions that we covered and thank those still living for their service. I will attend the celebration At Fort Sam Houston Memorial
Cemetery tomorrow. Also will visit my wife's grave there, where I will one day be buried when I have gone to my 'long home'.
