I took these photos in four cemeteries on May 3, 2003, near where Perry County, Licking County, and Muskingum County touch each other. In this (now) tri-county region, consisting of Madison, Bowling Green, Hopewell, and Newton Townships in Perry, Licking, and Muskingum Counties, my Smith and Brown ancestors settled or sojourned on their journey into the heart of America.
