Hal sent me these two photos and neither Harry nor I can identify many of the people, though we are sure we have known some of them in later years. I am sending this to any and all of the Melnicks and Pieters who may even remotely be able to identify the people, as Philip is a Melnick and Esther is a Pieters. In the "earlier" one, we do recognize Harry's dad on the leaft in the back. And Philip/Faybush on the right wearing the bowler hat. And Esther sitting in the front on the left in front of Joe. in the "later" picture, we recognize Philip in the middle row second from left.... and we think it might be Esther in the middle row second from the right... but not sure. In the back row, I think the woman in the middle is Lola. According to Konin: A Quest, she married at 18, so the tall man on HER left nay be her husband.
