The Richland Creek Wilderness Area is a portion of the Ozark National Forest. The wilderness area has three noteworthy waterfalls: Falling Water Falls, Richland Falls, and Twin Falls. All very impressive and beautiful.

Twin Falls is created by two forks of Richland Creek.. Long Devils Fork and Big Devils Fork. Both forks resemble Richland Creek with their wonderful falls and rapids. Long Devils Fork has a pretty impressive falls named Slat Rock Falls located on it.

The fall color was late this year inour part of the Arkansas Ozarks but it finally got here. It was a nice surprise to have a blue heron fly in while I was taking photos along Crooked Creek. He seemed to enjoy posing for me!
