We drove into the Grand Staircase Nat'l Monument from Boulder, then drove about 10 miles on the Burr Trail. We then turned onto a dirt road leading to the Wolverine Petrified Wood Natural Area.

We hiked a loop trail going through Little Death Hollow and Wolverine Canyon in the Escalante Grand Staircase Nat'l Monument. This is an area of beautiful rock formations as well as slot canyons.
