The day was October 21st 2007. Temperatures were 38 degrees in the morning, and 64 degrees in the afternoon. This trip was all photographed on the Blue Ridge Parkway from mile markers 295 to 360.

In a long walk around Redding's Caldwell Park, I came upon a melange of Fall Brilliance that's hard to believe, unless you see it. Redding is in Northern California just where the Great Valley ends and the Mountains begin.
