In one of my strolls on Seixal Bay, in the first days of April, I crossed the road and I entered this beautiful place. Although it has not the splendour of the old times, I find it quite delightful.

Quinta da Fidalga (Noble Woman's Farm), whose foundation retraces to XV century, always had agricultural and leisure functions, appearing associated to Paulo da Gama, the brother of Vasco da Gama (he discovered the maritime way to India), who would have come to live in lands of Seixal to attend the construction of caravelas (ships) destined to the discovery of the maritime way for India.
