Bald-Faced Hornets ( Dolichovespula maculata) are limited to North America, where it is found transcontinently. It lives along the west coast across Canada. On the west coast it is found from Alaska to southern California. It can also be found in southwest of the United States and throughout the eastern US.
Bald-Faced Hornets are large at, 15mm ( 7/8" )long.
