We were traveling through Upper Michigan and had just come through a spot of rain. Suddenly, there was a break in the clouds and a break in the trees and we spotted the Manistique Lighthouse on Lake Michigan. Of course, we had to stop to take photos.

I went to Headland State Park and Dune Nature Preserve, at Lake Erie. For the first time, it was great, almost like being on an Ocean Front!

Portland is an Island connected to the mainland at Weymouth by a causeway.Whilst we were at Weymouth a large storm cloud appeared and we had thunder and lightening but very little rain. All the while, the sun was still shining!
