It's always such a good feeling to see new life coming back to the trees. I expect to add more photos to the album, but wanted to get the ball rolling with a few I took today.

A collection of images that are our all time personal favourites. Some are new and some may not be the highest quality, but they each have special meaning to us. Hope you like them.

I was born in this small village in the south of Portugal. I left, better saying, I was carried from there when I was five months old, but I love it so much. I go there always I can.

All these photos have been taken on the same day, in a stroll I made around my homeland. In this album I put, almost only, the macros. I dedicate this album to Jill (jillbatchelor) whose work, love for Nature and beautiful strolls have inspired me so much

It was a cold early spring this year and no new growth was coming up. So I spent some time shooting the remains of flowers from last summer instead. They have their own subtle beauty.

I took these shots around the place where I live and around my birthplace. I hope you enjoy them!

I had entered one of the photos in the creative challenge "Soft things" and Kim asked what kind of seeds they are. Therefore I added comments about the milkweed plants here and started a milkweed album.
