The horses on this carousel were made in Venice, Italy, and then shipped to the United States and assembled on this carousel. The tails on the horses are real horse tails that were taken from dead horses, sterilized and used on the carousel horses. Also, each horse has a different facial expression. I was getting my walking exercise inside this week because it has turned cold and today we are getting a little snow, ice, and drizzle. Photo taken at Mills Mall, St. Louis County, Missouri.
