10/14/00 This hike starts at Vincent Gap 6,565' on the Angeles Crest Highway and climbs 2,834' in four miles to reach the summit at 9,399'. There was a light snow a few days before our hike.

Backpacking trip to Mt Lowe (5603'). We started the hike late so we would just have time to get there set up our camp and watch the sunset. We hiked out early, stoped on the way home for breakfast and still got home by 10:30.
