the Golden Trout Wilderness area is in Sequoia National Forest just east of Porterville, California. Elevations in the Golden Trout range from 5,000 feet to over 12,000 feet (3800m).

A hike up to 12,040 ft. Mono Pass a day after doing the High Sierra 100 mile bike ride. If I look like I'm dragging on this hike, I am. I was suffering from excercise induced asthma from the bike ride and was barely able to breathe the whole hike. FUN!
