Couldn't find decent plans for a fishtank stand on the internet, so I made up my own. It will support a LOT of weight, worry free. Help yourself to the ideas. let me know about possible improvements.

Used 4x4 for each leg, rather than 2x4s to allow for the cut out. 2x4s can be used, and you wouldnt have to chisel the notches, but then a seam would be visible. this method also hides the end grain of the frame. the 4x4 was the most expensive part.
