The 1994 GMC Sonoma truck in the pictures is mine. I built the truck over a period of five years, five businesses, three dogs and two wives. The truck is modified with a tweaked, fuel injected VORTEC 350 small-block, thanks to GM performance parts, competition cams, Howell Engineering Computer Wiring, and Summit Racing. The exhaust system features LT1 Trans Am manifolds dumping into custom bent pipes with dual cats and Flowmaster 40 mufflers with exhaust gasses finding their way out the rear through Pontiac Grand Prix cast aluminum tips. I modified the 4L60E transmission with B&M internals and Mega-Shifter. The truck is the original color paint with multiple clear-coat finish and topped off with 10” wide, American Racing Polished 200S wheels shod with Yokahama P245/45R17 tires. Suspension was lowered 4 inches front and rear, with modified front spindles and custom made, front and rear springs to get the power to the pavement. Slot car handling performance comes from oversize 1 3/8” front and 7/8” rear sway bars. I own and operate two vehicle dealerships, a finance company, insurance agency and a real-estate company and really have a hard time finding time to "Get ‘er Done".
