The place is Narumi-cho the Temples and shrines were constructed for the passing traders on there way to either Tokyo or Kyoto, Narumi-cho is situated next to Arimatsu town famous for it's Shibori fabrics.

Forward low visibility bell. This area is off limits to the guests due to safety reasons. Neil Young had it right though... rust never sleeps and it is an ongoing problem on the sixty three year old ship. This area has recently been completely refurbished since this photograph was taken.
