The original Bridgeton Covered Bridge was destroyed by an arsonist on 4/28/05. It was one of the most popular bridges in Indiana and was the heart & soul of Bridgeton, IN. It has been rebuilt due to an intense labor of love and is as beautiful as before.

This Parke County bridge was one of Indiana's most famous. Built in 1868 by JJ Daniels this bridge was a double span of 245 feet crossing Raccoon Creek. It was destroyed by an arsonist on 4/28/05, a major loss to the community and the county.
