One of the most beautiful Churches of Russia! It is very close by style to the famous POKROVSKII SOBOR (St. Basil's Cathedral)on Red Square in Moscow. It was build in the manor of Stroganov (Do you remember the famous Beef- Stroganov?) in 1719. The five-domed Christmas church with patten crosses has been constructed in so-called "Stroganov style ". The wooden carved iconostasis and icons of XVIII century remains to be one of the most highly artistic in Russia. It remains a valuable monument of Russian baroque. You can also see athe Alexander Nevskiy Cathedral at the left.
