Cruising the "Mexican Riviera" for a week, we visited three ports of call (Cabo San Lucas, Mazatlan, and Puerto Vallarta). Cruising on these "hotel ships" is interesting, though the company emphasis is more on so-called "Duty Free" sale

Anchored off shore in front of beautiful Cabo, we had a perfect view of the beach activities and felt like we had arrived! It was a wonderful 10 day stay, and a fun rest stop. Achorage was free, other than paying for the water taxi when you went into shore, if you did not take your own dinghy.
