When we first took off I felt a jarring of the plane. My husband was busy with the tower so I didn't bother him. When we landed we heard the tower talking about debris on the runway. We pulled in to get gas and have a rest stop. We ran out of the plane to empty as the plane was getting filled. When I came out to get back in the plane my husband handed me the back of the wheel fairing. Apparently the debris on the runway was from us! The thud I felt was a bird hitting us on take off.
