The Adelaide Oval's ground was established in 1871 after the formation of the South Australian Cricket Association or SACA. The first grandstand was built in 1882 and was named George Giffen Stand. The West End Redbacks are South Australia's first-class cricket team. The Adelaide Oval is known as being one of the most picturesque Test cricket ground in the world. I certainly wouldn't argue with that.
