In the middle of September ( Sept. 13-15. 2003), I revisited Arrow Lakes in Burton, BC. During the two days stay, I took several pictures while the weather cooperated.

Over 110 forest fires were burning in Alaska at the time these pictures were taken. Some of the fires continue to smolder even during the winter. The smoke was dense, like a fog.
