The Creation Rose Window is over the main entrance of Washington National Cathedral. Gothic windows are a marvelous, reversible form of art. From inside the glasswork of the window is seen as light, the stone tracery as dark. Outside light and dark are reversed, the stonework appearing light and the glass dark.
