picture: Mom at Hubbard Glacier
published by: LoneStarStitcher
It was a challenge getting Mom, age 80, out of our very nice and comfy SS verandah cabin. She did stand outside on the Upper Promenade observation deck for maybe 10 minutes, probably just to humor me. The winds off the glacier were quite nippy and we both went back in right after this was taken. Someone spotted an orca fin behind the ship, out of view for us. At this point, I was still waiting to see a whale, a seal, an otter, a minnow, ANYTHING that lives IN the sea.
