The famous fun park shut its doors in December, 2006 after I-94 expansion claimed over 1/2 acre of the property and essentially doomed its future. The 50-year-old park was a daylong funfest for young and old. Now, it's closed.

Grandview Drive was described by Teddy Roosevelt as "the most beautiful drive in the world". It is atop a 300-400 foot high bluff overlooking the Illinois River. Expensive homes combine with a park and turnoff lanes to make this a truly memorable drive.
