Early Christian monastic site on the River Shannon in Offlay Co. Ruins of a Cathedral, 8 churches, 2 round towers, 3 high crosses from the 10th-13th centuries. Worth the out of the way drive.

Irelands finest Victorian Gardens created from 1858-1875 cover several thousand acres within the 16,000 acres estate. Sorry about colors on some where the white balance was still set on incandescent from a night at Jonnie Fox's.

On the western side of Ireland is the charming town of Dingle. It is a great starting place for exploring the Dingle peninsula which showcases the best of ancient and current Ireland.
