Lapa steps were decorated by a travelling painter and sculptor from Chile, Selaron. His masterpiece is a tribute to Brazilian people. He spends most of his time on the steps cleaning them and chatting to people interested in his creation. We talked to Selaron too and he filled us up with stories of his travels, of a working process on the steps and of how much he likes living in Brazil and how much he loves Brazilian people.
