November in the UP is a quiet time of year. The leaves are gone and the snow isn't very deep yet (sometimes). These are photos I shot this month around the UP.

By March the snowpack around the UP has reached 3-4 feet deep or more in many places. By the end of this March we are already well over 200 inches here in Marquette County. Hard to believe in a month all the white stuff could be gone.

Our glorious trip to the beautiful Oregon Coast "Sept.21 thru Oct.3" We drove 29 hours and 1,892 miles to reach our destination in Oceanside, Oregon, that was pretty rough driving it straight thru in a Jeep Liberty! We racked up a total of 5,400 miles!

All the photos on this album were taken during some days I spent in Algarve, in May. The weather was very unstable but, despite this, they had been very pleasant days. I was even in beach and got an enormous sun blow! I looked just like a sweated lobster!
